RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We are proud to accept returns most new products, up to 30 days from the date of shipment with no restocking fee. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, You may choose to exchange the item, receive a refund or a store credit, less shipping

Atama USA does not refund shipping and handling costs. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for return your items.

EXCEPTION: if you are returning an order because of an error on OUR part (ex: wrong order or defective product), if this is the case we will cover the shipping costs both ways. The service used to return the product to us must be Standard Shipping Method (with tracking).

Returned Items must be in new, unaltered, unused and resalable condition.

Special or custom orders (embroidered kimonos or belts, for example), will not be accepted.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

RETURN PROCEDURE

To create a return, please contact info@atamausa.com to receive information on how to return one or more items.

 

REFUNDS

If you ship your item back to us before obtaining an RMA your return may be delayed.

Returned items that are crumpled and not folded correctly, do not have tags, or packaging will be subject to a minimum restocking fee.

The item will not be accepted as a return if it is in poor condition, dirty, washed, or worn.

Restocking fees will not be charged for items returned in original condition.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

 

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

FREE SHIPPING

In case you need to return orders that were qualified and purchased with our Free Shipping promo, we will refund for the total of the product minus the original shipping cost which is calculated according to our shipping price table.

 

PLEASE NOTE

Custom duties and all associated taxes and costs are exclusively at customers’ charge. These will have to be paid by the customer to the shipping company or the local customs authority upon arrival/receipt of the goods.

Refund an order that will have been refused by the receiver upon delivery
